DH WorldCup courses today are steep technical monsters with constantly changing conditions. The pros needed a mid-spike tyre that could handle dry, loose and extended corners as well as some mud. The Shorty is such a tyre. A large volume two-ply carcass makes it more versatile than their mud tyre WetScream. Large, high and slightly staggered side lugs penetrate loose ground and ensure predictable cornering at the speed of light. Two types of studs alternate in the centre: Rectangular studs and square studs, with a strong bite when braking and excellent self-cleaning properties.

WIDE TRAIL CASING
The Wide Trail (WT) construction optimises the tread layout and tyre shape on today’s modern wider rims. Traditional tires are designed for narrow rims and get a too square shape on wide rims, resulting in less than optimal performance.
WT tires are optimized for an inner rim width of 35 mm, but work excellently on all rims with an inner dimension between 30 and 39 mm.
