The HUTCHINSON Python 2 tyre is an evolution of the legendary Python, multiple winner of the XC World Cup, notably with Julien Absalon, and designed for cross-country training on dry to slightly loose terrain.

In this new version, the Python 29×2.25 combines limited height side blocks and is divided into three different parts to ensure optimal grip in corners, a central cleat chain that offers maximum speed on dry ground while guaranteeing lasting contact with the ground, and in between the two upward “gun” lugs for open and biting braking.

Combined with the new triple RaceRipost XC rubber and the Hardskin textile mesh reinforcement made of high-strength nylon placed under the tread and on the sidewalls to prevent cuts from angular stones, this model shows excellent performance in terms of both yield and durability.

Offered here in a Tubeless Ready version, it can be ridden with or without an inner tube.

Designed by French manufacturer HUTCHINSON, the Python 2 is ideal for rear mounting and perfectly complements the Cobra or Cougar at the front.
